Hudson Christmas
Hudson was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida but moved with his family to Arizona in 2011. Aside from the final two years of his bachelor’s degree (which he spent in Valencia, California), Hudson has remained a resident of the hottest state in the United States. Hudson has a bachelor’s degree in political studies from The Master’s University where he graduated summa cum laude. During his time at The Master’s University, Hudson learned a lot about politics, the Christian faith, and the practice of law.
After graduation, Hudson took a year off from school to work at a national defense firm before he enrolled in law school. During that year off, he married his childhood friend, Grace. He then attended Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law where he eventually graduated with his Juris Doctor (JD) and, after graduating, passed the bar and was admitted into practice by the State Bar of Arizona.
Prior to working at Keist Thurston, P.C., Hudson loved working in the world of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. He enjoyed the communication and interaction between his clients and assisting them with their various challenges and life difficulties. He also volunteered at Administer Justice legal aid clinics where he heard a number of various types of cases and helped a variety of people through all matter of legal issues.
Since he has started at Keist Thurston Law Firm, Hudson has sought to daily implement the 5 “C”s mission statement originally set in place by the firm’s founder: Christian, client-centered, competent, creative, and competitive. He has dealt with a variety of matters from a number of various areas of law and has fought for his clients at every stretch of the journey. While Hudson enjoys the litigation process immensely, his ultimate goal is for his clients to end a case in the best way possible. Sometimes this involves heavy litigation, but often, it involves attempting to find a resolution through settlement or mediation. He understands the Bible’s clear desire for a peaceful resolution if possible (Romans 12:18). However, that desire for peace is also balanced by the pursuit of God’s justice (Deuteronomy 32:4), even if that means through extensive and difficult litigation. Hudson’s constant goal is to care for his clients and ensure that their best interests are met throughout his representation of them.
Hudson attends Northwest Community Church (located on 43rd Avenue and Bell). There he serves alongside his wife, Grace, in his church’s middle school ministry. Hudson and Grace have two children with a third on the way. They love to spend time together, whether it’s at zoo, the aquarium, or simply going out to grab a snack or dessert. Hudson is a self-proclaimed “nerd” who is constantly looking for new hobbies or activities to share with his family and friends. Whether it’s a trading card game, a board game, or a video game, Hudson is all in as long as he can enjoy it with others.
